9” x 4” Anacua bowl. Salvaged from my friend’s property in San Marcos, TX and finished with walnut oil. Turned thin and partially charred, creating a sense of fragility and decay. This exaggerates the parasitic nature of the holes from wood-boring bugs, slowly weakening the tree and draining it of its vitality. What are you parasitic to? What is parasitic to you?
