About Me

Tristan Albers is a woodturner based in San Marcos, TX. He founded Martian Hill Studios in 2019 after falling in love with the process of carving wooden bowls. He carefully salvages Texas Hill Country lumber and carves it on a lathe, uncovering the tree’s past and putting the natural beauties of wood grain on display.
